Niccolo Fano

Niccolò’s work is informed by his global outlook and very particular influences from within the ever-evolving photographic panorama. More specifically his focus resides in the evolution of power relations and photographic boundaries in regards to portraiture and the medium as a whole. Identity, globalization and socio/anthropological documentation are just a few of the issues and themes he explores with great passion throughout his projects.

Currently working as project manager for Professor of Photography Karen Knorr, Niccolò has exhibited and participated in numerous International shows and awards. He also holds a great passion for the teaching aspect of the photographic medium and has worked as visiting lecturer at Sotheby’s Institute of Art in London and the UCA in Farnham where he also held an artistic residency in 2009.
